Physical Therapy for a 6 year old???
That’s right! I work with mostly young athletes and when my 6 year old daughter repeatedly sprained her left ankle at school, I knew something was not right. I asked a couple trusted colleagues if she knew any good pediatric physical therapists and I got a GREAT referral. I brought my daughter in and the PT did a spot on eval, provided some manual stretching techniques for my wife and I to help her with and some exercises for her to do at home. I was happy to hear the PT talk about posture, muscular balance and kids today. I felt validated for what I had been doing and relieved that we found another like minded professional to help us out. I will put up a video of some of the exercise later.
Have a great night!
