New Myofascial Release Tool The Grid Great for Corrective Exercise!
I love trying new things and when I saw this in the Perform Better catalog I had to try it!
This worked great to loosen up before my workout today!
I gave this a solid test run and rolled on her for a good 35 minutes. I started with my calves, the density of The Grid held up nicely for the calves, especially the work I needed on my soleus (distal and medial portion of the tibia).
Felt good on the Achiles too!
I spent some time on the biceps femoris (short head), vastus lateralis, TFL and anterior quads as well. The textured feel of The Grid dug in nicely and gave me a nice fascial drag. Those ridges did make a difference compared to the other flat rollers. I enjoyed the density as well when I got my body weight on top of it, some nice pressure. A regret is that I ma so skinny now at 205 lbs. it is tough to get enough pressure with the roller…I need to eat more and lift more lol!
Maybe I should go "all natural" Like Rock??
You will like the work on the adductor complex as well. The Grid has a nice diameter that worked very well when rolling the adductors in the prone position. I always need that!
These guys always need some love!
The piriformis and lateral hip work as wonderful. Again the density and texture of The Grid worked wonders to release my sacro-iliac joint.
My Right SI gets locked up from time to time
The Grid fared equally as well for the upper body while I addressed the Lats, Teres major, the thoracic spine and pecs. Some great fascial work on pec minor…way too much time on the computer lately! I could sure feel it.
Yep...too much lap top!
The Grid seems pretty durable, I will put it through the paces as will my staff and I will let you know how it holds up. For the $39.99 plus shipping it is well worth the buy for me.
Check it out and let me know what you think…
